Using PHP in Adobe GoLive CS2

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and new to building a search database on a website :).

I need to create a search database with over 40,000 entries in it. I am a little lost as to how to do it. I will be using Adobe GoLive CS2. Is there a good site that explains how to create a PHP search database using GoLive? Or is it easiest to use Dreamweaver? I'm sure it can be done with GoLive, but I just need to be pointed in the right direction.

Many of the files I need to incorporate are in Microsoft Access . . . will I still be able to use that? I have looked into using ASP, but PHP seems so much easier to build . . . especially for someone who is building a search database for the first time :).

Thanks for any and all help!
