ImJustBrndn
The image at http://joekral.needshelp.org/gauge/30000/18012can be displayed with a filling bar, if you change the last set of number it automatically fills in the bar.Example:If this is PHP could someone maybe point me in the right direction to do this.B
trq
Could be any number of languages, but yes its doable with php. Check the gd library.
ShogunWarrior
I imagine there are three images for the fill bar:* The left hand side right part to fit the curve.* A 1px wide red strip that is stretched across.* The right hand red curve that is drawn at the end of the fill bar.It wouldn't be too hard to see this implemented in PHP with GD, yup. ImJustBrndn
What exactly is GD, I'm totally new to php and would like to create something like this, but I think it might be a wee bit above my level at the moment. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
AndyB
What is GD? A graphics library, frequently compiled with php by good web hosting companies. Details in the link in Thorpe's post. Before you dig too deeply ... do you actually have GD installed on your web server?
ImJustBrndn
Yes, I have it installed version gd-2.0.33. I'm just really new to the whole php thing, and really never know where to start. Do a lot of my learning from looking at something that is already made and picking it apart.B
