google + charlotte.tff = http://font-leroy.tripod.com/

Rats! That just a list of fonts.  It looks as though charlotte.ttf is NOT a free font - http://www.dafont.co...php?q=Charlotte

TTF stands for True Type Font, you can get more infomation of True Tyoe Foints from wikipedia.com

you can get lots of fronts from dafont.com or just search free fonts in google you're bound to find dozens of font sites.

Ah so charlotte itself isn't going to be a free font at all?

I'd just ask someone with Charlotte to send it to you. My computer didn't come with Century Gothic, and someone just emailed me the TFF.

That might be illegal though--but it's just a font.

This is a .44 Caliber Loveletter straight through my heart.

It's "just a font" that's protected by copyright and commercial licence. Theft is theft. End of discussion.

If your client used Charlotte ask your client to send you the font. Otherwise tell them it'll cost $x and buy it (and give it to them when you're finished).

I did I told them to go ahead, and they send me that and charlotte_sans.tff or something, I went font haywire after finding this out.  But there copy of charlotte.tff or something was invalid, or a corrupt installation, I saw somewhere how to do it, instead of drag and drop I went there and tried to install it, one of the did, the other was corrupt, so she is getting the original file from her client and sending it to me, I love photoshop and graphic design more than I thought, It'll still take me awhile to become good at it, but I am getting a lot better.
