Have a question about Require()

I am working on this website and I want to put all of my include and required files in the private_html folder on my host.

I think that the path that I would need to use for these files is:
require './domains/rfwrangler.frih.net/private_html/file.php'
Is this correct and will this work for the include()function in this way as well.

The path the the public_html is the same but public_html instead of private_html.

I am not sure if this is neccesary but I thought that it might add better security for the site.
