Hi. I am rather new to Apache, and I have a website on one server that needs to provide access to a directory on another server that uses apache. I believe I need to put an .htaccess file in the directory to allow this. I have tried several commands, but I keep getting an 'Internal server error.' What is the correct syntax to allow access to the directory? Thanks.

have a look <a href="http://baremetal.com...gets/htaccess/> BareMetal: .htaccess Files - Resource Page

or here at the Apache Tutorial: .htaccess files
you cannot affect the past but you can ruin a perfectly good present by worrying about the future

The MANUAL is actually a useful resource
