Hi all,
Does anyone know of any good articles, sites etc... giving a good arguement of why PHP is a useful language, MySQL is a useful database, and apache is a useful server.

you might have to use google as everone got there own facts.

if this for a writeup then using the programming lanuage proper site will give you a better insight.

Yes OK thank-you, I would anyway, I just thought that someone may know of any good articles giving a good argument for and against PHP (or open source)

I think you'll find it hard to find an unbiased article either for or against open source software.  The Open Source community is for it; the big software manufacturers are against it; and the rest of us are really happy that open source provides software that often outperforms commercial stuff.
Legend has it that reading the manual never killed anyone.

i think you might want something like the business case for php at yahoo.
its a popular talk at most php conference but i can't seem to find the slides online.
you can always look thru talks.php.net to see interesting things that may apply
