Make Any Webpage Look Like It Was Made By A 13 Year-Old In 1996

Odd, I had put in my own website, and nothing was changed?

It doesn't quite work if your site already looks like a Geocities site :P:P

I loved the "Campaign against frames" image that was plastered along the top of my site, http://www.solidinc.org. Back in 1996, Frames were hot stuff! People could steal content from multiple sites without having to bother with downloading it to their site then re-uploading it!

lulzy find!

You speak of frames as if it doesn't exist (or isn't supported) anymore. While neither are true as some web-sites/-applications still make use of them. I'm not saying this is a good thing, I hate frames. I just wanted to point out they are still around.

Crazy.. I was only 10 in 96'

It still boggles my mind that a lot of you were essentially born into the internet age.  This is probably how people in the early 1900's felt when the automobile exploded on the scene.  "What?  You mean you never rode a horse into town?"

I'll never forget the geocities era... and angelfire ... and homestead.  It did a good job with my site.

...memories....

I'm actually kind of sad that geocities disappeared.  I had an epic poetry site hosted there back in the day.  I was Linkin Park before they were Linkin Park. :P  But I digress.

Those old hosts were essentially a record of our collective awkward phase.  Embarrassing and humorous to look at, but pivotal in turning the web into what it is today.

Yes, Lol. But I can't really say anything, thats where I started. Then I "bought" my copy of Dreamweaver :)

I still like Notepad though I have always found it to bad Notepad didn't support syntax highlighting, intellisense,  and auto-indentiation. If it had, it probably would still be my favorite editor :D

I know there is Notepad++ but I don't like the GUI and it feels bloated.

How about such a simple thing as being able to figure out that LF is a line break? It's the only editor I've ever known that doesn't support LF style line breaks.

After: http://wonder-tonic.com/geocitiesizer/content.php?theme=3&music=3&url=www.oceanicviewstudios.com

A website I designed for a friend:

WOW! This website I love. (:

It makes me chuckle /EVERY/ time I see it.
