Image optimazation questions

Recommended Posts

Ok I was not sure which forum to post this so I thought this would be fine. If there is a better forum for this then please move it..

Anyways, I am attempting to create a jpeg (or whatever format would be best) from a psd template. I am wondering what would be the best way to go about it.

Here is a list of the image software that I have.

CorrelDraw Graphics suite 12
Macromedia Fireworks mx
Adobe Photoshop and Image ready 7.0

I know that alot of these are ancient but they suit my needs, for the most part.

Anyways here is an example with using Correl Photo paint

it's size is 7.08 kb
As you can see this is horrific..

Here is one that I used Correl Capture to take a screen shot

size 10.4kb

This one is also horrific

And here is another one that I used Photoshop

size 15.1kb

I am wondering what is the best way to create the image that I need while having the smallest image that I can without having an out come like the first 2?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
Tom
