How to set up a "pause" in an Javascript array?

Hello I need help to set up 2 things in a Javascript

that is my script

script>

var Engines = new Array (
"/member.php?sendmessageto=189",
<----- I NEED TO HAVE 10 SEC PAUSE HERE TO WAIT FOR URL TO LOAD ------>
"/member.php?sendmessageto=188",
<----- I NEED TO HAVE 10 SEC PAUSE HERE TO WAIT FOR URL TO LOAD ------>
"/member.php?sendmessageto=187"
);

function openPage (favorites)
{
for (i = 0; i < favorites.length; ++i)
open (favorites[i]);
}

</script>
