Problem with absolute div in IE7 and IE6

Hey guys,

The above is a site I'm working on. When you hover over 'Our Services' you get a drop down list. This works perfectly fine in FF, Chrome, Safary and IE8

 

If you check it out in IE8 compatability mode, IE7 and IE6 the text behind shows through. Had a fiddle with more z-index on different divs but can't get anywhere with it. Any ideas?

 

I am aware of a few other bugs in IE7 and IE6, but am addressing them in my own time.
