Payment gateway script

hi all

 

i have aclient who wants a payment gateway site ,something similar to this (pesagate.com) ,it just like paypal where one can check there balance ,top upthere balance and generally shop and pay using this.

are there any secure open source scripts out there that do this or is it easier if a tried coding from scratch ,

 

im not exactly a pro ,and im not sure about the scopreof work involved.

hmm not sure its quite was i was looking for, do u know when u get into ur pay pal account and you can check your transactions and topup ? im looking for something similar to that.

When dealing with people's banking information, I HIGHLY discourage open source.  In fact, if you don't know exactly what you are doing, I highly discourage the entire concept.

 

Setting up such an application requires a lot of time and money.  To process transactions yourself, you need to be 100% PCI Compliant (also: Wikipedia).

 

Perhaps I am not getting exactly what you are trying to do, but your client better be ready to fork out more than $50 for some cheesy script you found online, or be prepared to get sued back to the stone-age when, and I say when, people's sensitive information is exposed.
