How to add/include an existing WebSite in PHP Eclipse.

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

I hope you guys are doing fine.

I have recently installed PHP Eclipse and it is working just great including the debugging part. It is all configured properly.

I can create a new project and new .php file for the new project and it is working fine.

Now I have a simple testing website already in my c:\wamp\www\myTestWebsite and I would just like to open it through the PHP Ecilpse so that I can debug it and view the codes etc.

I am just trying to figure out how to add a existing website in my PHP Eclipse.

Kindly let me know what steps are required to add and existing website.

All comments are always welcome!

Thank you! :)

Please anyone used PHP Eclipse to debug an existing website.

My PHP Eclipse is working fine, I can create new website, I just don't see and option to include an existing website which was created in the localhost directory.

Anyone... looking forward to your reply.

Thank you :)

  • 3 months later...

I am using Eclipse, but was never able to install the debugger. I know that there are 2 types and both failed for me. I gave up.

Yeah I know... I spent 3 hours to make it to work... and it was all trial and error. but it is working now. but just don't know how I made it work.

Its website doesn't have a proper instruction for the PC installation.

try installation java runtime as this is what I vaguely remember as some prerequisites.

Cheers!
