Hi

I have never come accross this before and it makes no sense. I have a script that is some how taking a user id from $_GET but all it has is the following:

session_register("refid_session");
foreach($_GET as $k=>$v)
$id .=$k;
if($id !="") {
if($_SESSION["refid_session"]=="") {
$_SESSION["refid_session"]=$id ;
}
}

what is this "refid_session" thing?

It's just the name of a session variable that stores the id. They didn't want to store it as $_SESSION['id'] because of it could be overwritten by the REQUEST depending on the php.ini settings.
