Is PHP setup on your own server or is it a hosted account? In order for PHP mail() to work, you either have to have a seperate SMTP server installed on your machine or specify an address in PHP.ini. The function doesn't work on its own. If this is the case try: www.mailenable.com. A free mail server that comes with an SMTP relay.

Make sure if you do this that the mail is accepting connections for localhost ONLY. Otherwise you'll be targetted by spammers and get blacklisted.

Good luck
