PHP/Database Intergration with Mal's Cart

downfall

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with Mal's Cart here, and if it's possible to create a more effective and dynamic online store by intergrating Mal's Cart with PHP/Mysql?

I'm mostly interested by deducting stock (from the product table in database) once a product has been purchased. But as Mal's Cart, is on a seperate server from my website, where all the checkout pages are, is it even possible for stock to be deducted from my database, as I can't set any variables or queries on the checkout pages, to recognise how many of what product is purchased.

Is there anyway then I can effectively have my datbase/website/Mal's Cart keep track all my stock deductions after purchases?
