If this hasn't been suggessted already.. how about maybe seasonal competitions. So users will have a certain amount of time to complete a project in PHP and submit it. The best project wins and the user (could) get an award or prize.

What I know:
XHTML: 10/10
CSS: 8/10
JavaScript: 5/10
VBScript: 7/10 PHP: 8/10 MySQL: 9/10

Hmm.. I will talk to Eric.  I am sure that we could set something like this up. Perhaps site wide advertisment, hosting from WebHostFreaks, or something. No promises but I will ask him what he says.  If he says no, it will be end of discussion unless we collect a contest entrace fee.  Say like $10.00 per entry, and take $5.00 of that and put aside from each entry fee and give that that which we put aside to the winner?
