mmattax Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 So here is the problem:We have an openGL program running (written in C), when the user clicks an object we want to send data and view it in a webpage.I know we can send data using the get method to a page, but how can i keep updating the values when a user clicks multiple times, and how does the browser know not to open a new page, but refresh the page showing the new values?is there a way to do this in PHP?in C we open the browser as the following:
ShellExecute(NULL, "open", "http://example.php?data=3;data2=4;", NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL);
how can we dynamically send data to a PHP from an outside source? is there a better way then using the get method? michaellunsford Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 php is server side -- javascript is client side.You might just do an onClick="window.refresh()" and just have PHP build the page with current information. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
