I'd like to know how statistics sites get my screen resolution.
The problem is that the statistic script that I have to include in my site, runs on other domain so doesn't have access to cookies related with my site. So, I cant't simply set a cookie in javascript and then read the $_COOKIE with the php script.

Screen resolution is client-side... if the client is not on your site, you can't do much about it.
Seriously... if people don't start reading this before posting, I'm going to consider not answering at all.

But the statistic or counter sites aren't in the client site and they can get the screen resolution somehow.
Do you know how they do it?

And what makes you think that they haven't gathered these data from visitors to their own site?
