The opengl viewer would benefit from a description of the challenge, and what you accomplished. Overall, an impressive array of disconnected projects, and the design of the site is nicely done. gary80 Posted June 14, 2011 Author Share Posted June 14, 2011 thanks for the nice comments. completely agree, with the lack of descriptions its on the to do list. yeah, the projects are disconnected I seem to have a little bit of everything as opposed to a lot of something, I'm thinking about adding a footer that shows the project categories and possibly highlights some of my skills. just out of interest, I just had an employment agency call me about an entry level PHP job, unfortunately it was too far away, their company wanted someone with framework (preferably) zend experience. Do you think that lots of employers will want framework experience? if so which one should i learn first and is there any recognized accreditation for it? I suppose this varies by location, but the most in demand frameworks/cms in my experience are: zend framework symfony code igniter cakephp drupal joomla If you're going in as an entry level developer I don't think there's any expectation that you would already be an expert in a framework, and certs/training is pretty expensive. If anything get a zend cert and a mysql cert. If I were going to recommend a framework with a lot of momentum right now, I'd point you to symfony.
