A simple mail() related question

I know that \n and \r\n are used in mail(), but I don't remember which one of them is used for Windows and which is for Linux...

Those are newline characters and are used whenever you want a newline, except when output to the browser.

Linux/Unix: \n
Windows: \r\n
Mac: \r
