costello Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Hello,Fairly new to php (3 days now!). I'm trying to write a little script that'll write to a file from a textbox. Links will be necessary in the textbox but when the file is made the output becomes this:
<a href=\"lalala.txt>lalala</a>
I need to get rid of that backslash but slipslashes() doesn't seem to work. Here's the code I have to write a new file:
<?phpchdir("info"); //change dir to info$ourFileName = "$filename"; //get text input$ourFileHandle = fopen($ourFileName, 'w') or die("can't open file"); //make filefclose($ourFileHandle);$fh = fopen($ourFileName, 'w') or die("can't open file");$stringData = $sup; //get textbox inputfwrite($fh, $stringData); //write to filefclose($fh);?>
Any help would be great :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
