CarlStreet
This may be the dumbest question of the day; BUT I have NO trouble writing PHP scripts and getting them to do what I want. BUT, I have NO WAY of getting those scripts to execute from inside an HTML PAGE. I WANT my script to execute IMMEDIATELY upon the page loading WITHOUT ANY user action -- NO buttons to push, NO data to be entered, etc., etc. There MUST be a way to do this -- but I can find NO references on how to do this! Please help!Thank you! Orio
So you want to run PHP from a ".html" file? I once saw it is possible by changing the .htacccess, but why dont you just change it to ".php" and have the old ".html" redirect to the ".php"?Orio. CarlStreet
I sitll want the HTML page to display -- all I want is the script to run at the outset. I am simply trying to record the number of times the page is accessed along with the date and time. My script works great from the browser command line; but I have NO WAY of executing it automatically when the page is accessed.
