Using PHP to create an unordered list of the contents in a folder

I have a folder on my server that I store a bunch of junk in. You can see it here:

Now, I certainly like having a big bin of objects on my server, the only problem is I see the basic styling that the Apache server throws my way when I view the page. My question is this; is there any way I can create an index.php file that will scan all the objects in the folder and put them into an unordered list so that I can style the page using a little CSS, just so I can make the type bigger and a bit more legible? Any help would be great, thanks guys!

I'm sure you can go through and write your own if you want, but I did a quick Google search and this is what came up:

Otherwise you can create your own directory listing and apply the styling you want:
