I'm 14  and male and have been coding since I was about 10 or 11 using Actionscript in Macromedia (now Adobe of course) Flash. When I was 11 I went to an "Adult Ed" course (normally you'd have to be 16 to get in... managed to get in though through my dad who was helping with the venue and was friends with the tutor). Done coding in Actionscript, C, C++, Javascript, HTML (I still suck at it, could never be bothered to learn it :P) and PHP. The only languages that I've actually achieved stuff with though are PHP and Actionscipt (although I've forgotten most of the Actionscript I once knew, no need for it now). I would love to learn more PHP and C++ (and German and Cantonese... :P). Um... that's about it for now I think...

18, female, college student in Florida, majoring in Computer Science. Yep, rare. =p I started learning HTML when I was 13, and started programming when I was 15. I know how to program in C, Java, PHP, Flash/Actionscript and know a bit about Javascript, C++, Ruby, VB and ASP.
A lot of people don't expect me to be interested in computers or programming, but my dad's a programmer and my mom's Asian, so I got the best of both. =p

Wilson ... designed mostly with C++ for a couple of years starting 1994 then stopped around 1998. Used Visual until 2001.  Stopped programming and went to Electronics and Telecommunications...currently involved in VoIP industry at work which led me to the necessity of learning php and mysql starting July this year.

Moshe, Male and 12. I started HTML/Javascript when I was 8 (no joke). Learned Pascal around 9. CSS and PHP at 10. MySQL at 11. Taking courses towards a degree in computer science (Open University).

I currently know PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML, Pascal.

Is this a trick question? Because I have seen plenty of sci-fi movies where people have to be frozen into suspended animation in order to make this jump, so why would you be out of your pod? I mean, there's protocol for this, right?  Tom would not be just randomly hitting the warp speed button without you knowing...

I'm a 27 year old male, and I have been learning PHP/MySQL on and off since the beginning of 2004.  I completed my first PHP/MySQL project in the second semester at university.  I studied B.Sc Internet Technology, and spent the third year of my course working in Madrid for industrial experience.  I graduated in 2007 with full honours, and started working as a PHP developer for a local web design company.  I am now working as a PHP/MySQL contracter through an agency :)
