Solarpitch
Hey,I was just wondering how web sites implement those authentication pictures to prevent automatic registrations!I need to implement this in a site I'm developing. Is this how there done...?1. Have 10 or so different authentication pictures.2. Assign a value to each picture . . eg: picture1 = "GB7D4SX", picture2 = "HNB6VD1"3. When user calls registration page, randomly select one of ten auth. pics.4. User enters username, password, picture code . . if picture code is correct . . valid! Then I would take it the pictures are stored in a file and when a random one is called it set the current auth pic variable ($authPic) variable on the page = to that pic!Thats what I was thinking anyway! Am I far off? lolCheers!
