Working on a site, let me know what you think......

When it comes to php/mysql/css I'm still new, especially with css. I would love any comments good or bad about this work in progress. I know I should use CSS for the layout and I'm working on figuring that out, but for now it's laid out using tables. Any suggestions on how to obtain this layout with css are welcomed. I also know this site doesn't yet pass validation, as I said it's a work in progress.

Initially... plain, but not bad. CSS vs. Tables at this point is trivial as long as your code validates. You could however use CSS to achieve the same rollover effects Javascript performs on your menu but a lot easier.

I would try spanning the bar under your menu to the full width of the page and centering your page title if you go that route. At this point I would also get rid of the google search, or place it at the bottom of the page, out of the way if you actually need it.

I might also try to incorporate one more color or visual element to compliment the greens on the page. It will really make everything pop.

Thanx for the info, I'm currently working on a couple different styles and such, so far I also have

Any critque of this one would also be great, I'm working to get rid of the black as I think it looks too dark and gloomy.

I'm working on a more CSS driven layout to get rid of the tables except where they would work better.
