How to limit the # of rows..

Is there a way to limit the number of rows simply by specifying the number of the row? What would be the code to display rows such as - 10 through 20, or rows 30 through 40?

add a limit to the end of query.

 

to select rom 10 to 20, you'd like to skip 9 rows, and get next 11 rows:

select ....... limit 9,11;
