Checking Out An Html/css Page Code

i wanna start designin an index.html page and this is the first time im doing it , i want to cut the page elements into a bunch of div tags then filling them with whatever i want later , i just want to know what im doing wrong and what right and how to make the code work for any screen size !

 

any comment about the code will be helpful cuz i want to move on and fill everything and i dont want to make some big mistake now !

lot of things have to do in your css file. I recommend you need to refer some css page layout technique. search google you will find 1000 of tutorials for the subject.

Is it possible for you to post a picture of the layout you want?

 

From what I get from the CSS and the HTML code you want contents in the div with header class to be inline, therefore you have to float logo, middle, slogo, search and map class to the left.

Try and avoid using AP div, use normal divs, and use margins and floats for positioning.
