Hi All,

I am having trouble getting the phpMYadmin to work on the WAMPSERVER. I have tried for 4 days, and still cannot get it to work. I have tried everything I can possibly think of. I have downloaded it on 4 different machines, two that ran Windows 7, one that ran XP and one that ran Vista. None of them worked.

I have done all the normal stuff, like opening the C:\wamp\alias\phpmyadmin.conf file and changing the line of code from:

AllowOverride all

Order Allow,Deny

Allow from all

to:

Order Allow,Deny

Allow from all

And, I also changed the file path to "c:/wamp/alias/phpmyadmin3.5.1/", but still no luck.

I am in the middle of taking a PHP/MYSQL class right now too, so the work is really starting to pile up due to this road block.

If anyone has any tricks on how to get this thing up and running I would REALLY appreciate it.

I tried to learn PHP 4 years ago, and ran into the same problem, which prevented me from learning it. Now I'm back at it, and I'm stuck in the same spot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

George

Without any errors, or more detailed description of exactly what you've been doing when trying to install it, I'm afraid no one can help you. At least not without a whole lot of guesswork.

I recommend that you read this article.
