Mysql Insert Help

Recommended Posts

For some reason this query is giving me an error:

$con = mysql_connect("host","user","pass");
if (!$con)
die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());

mysql_select_db("db", $con);

mysql_query("INSERT INTO joblist (title, desc, pay)
VALUES ('title', 'description','pay')");

if (mysql_errno()) {
die('Invalid query: ' . mysql_error());

Error: Invalid query: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'desc, pay) VALUES ('title', 'description','pay')' at line 1
