Looks like a label for a goto statement.  No goto in 5.2.

That four-letter word (goto) should be in the forum's filter for bad-words.

 

I can't understand why a language advancing the way PHP is, would ADD this construct. It's the kind of thing you would expect someone to recommend for removal. At least they added the disclaimer (sortof):
