Hi,

I just joined. I'm very new to PHP and I'm always in need of some advice. Since my knowledge is not very broad I doubt I'll be able to help answer questions more likely I'll be the one asking the questions...

Here goes my first question. How do I go about posting an actual question regarding some code I'm having problem with?

Thanks!

Welcome!  :happy-04:

Assuming that you've already tried solving the problem yourself (searching Google, searching this forum, checking the manual, etc.) here are a few pointers:

  1. Find a section which most applies to your question, such as the PHP Coding Help
  2. Start a new topic
  3. When posting code, please surround it with

tags. It will make your code and post easier to follow	If you are getting any errors, let us know what those errors are	If the code is behaving unexpectedly, let us know what the code should be doing

Also, if you haven't done so already, be sure to check out the rules for this forum:

Good luck :)
