Where to put files?

I just installed Apache, php and mysql and i was wondering where do i put my files for the websever.

For linux = /var/www/

For Windows = C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs

If you used some special installer which installed apache/php/mysql all in one go - I suggest you look in:
c:\
and c:\program files

Go to the VIEW drop down menu - choose - LIST
Go to the VIEW drop down menu - choose - ARRANGE ICONS -> BY DATE

You should be able to see the newly installed program and determine where to put your website files.

P.S. whats the name of the installer program you used?
