I have tried to decrypt data using openssl decrypt and gives error message as openssl_public_decrypt(): key parameter is not a valid public key Not sure what i am doing wrong. I am new to this so please excuse me if i am being thick. Thanks in advance. What kind of data are you dealing with, whom do you send it to, and whom are you trying to protect it from? When programmers end up with RSA, they've usually made a couple of very bad design decisions. You should never implement your own public-key systems. Always use established protocols like HTTPS or tools like PGP/GPG.
