The Parse error can kiss my ass!

i keep getting a *** parse error on this line, my syntax must be wrong....help!!!


$sql="INSERT INTO user (userID,fname,mi,lname,gender,st,pass) values ('$userID', '$fname', '$mi', '$lname', '$gender', '$st', '$pass');

you're missing your closing quote on the statement:

$sql="INSERT INTO user (userID,fname,mi,lname,gender,st,pass) values ('$userID', '$fname', '$mi', '$lname', '$gender', '$st', '$pass')";
?>

WHERE???!?!??!?![size=7]

ok i changed it and im still getting

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/sajes2/public_html/ratemyboyfriend/register.php on line 7



this is my line 7

$sql="INSERT INTO user (userID,fname,mi,lname,gender,st,pass) values ('$userID', '$fname', '$mi', '$lname', '$gender', '$st', '$pass')";

you might have missed a ; or something else before line 7. Please post line 1-7, and use [code=auto:0] tag.
Please use EDIT * 100...
Please use
or [php] * 1000...

PLEASE READ THE POSTED SOLUTIONS CAREFULLY * 1000000...
