echo string with xml content

I would like to print a string variable ($var_xml) with php... the output that i wish is that:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<application>
  <params>
    <login>https://google.com</login>
  </params>
  <subproduct sid="001">
    <custom_fields>
      <filing_country>SPAIN</filing_country>
	  <tin>800</tin>
	  <radioName>1</radioName>
    </custom_fields>
    <module name="vat_invoices">
      <module_item>
      </module_item>
    </module>
  </subproduct>
</application>

But if I print that string variable the output that I see is that:

https://google.com SPAIN 800 1

How can I print the first output?
