kissgoodbye
Hi. Well I setup Apache/PHP/MySQL onto the computer I want to act as a local server. It\'s current OPSYS is Win98. The problem I\'m having is that some PHP variables do not work correctly. I had this problem when I used Apache, PHP, MySQL on my WinME system. I was wondering if any of you knew how to help me through this problem...I was wondering if this could be a problem with the php configuration. Please help me if you can. also Do any of you know an excellent free FTPD program I can use? I\'m currently using WAR and I dislike it tremendously because I have trouble figuring out how to fix all of the premissions to allow me to do whatever I wish. Please help, thanks. effigy
you can try changing register_globals to On in the php.ini and restarting apache... see if that gets rid of the problems. kissgoodbye
I\'m not certain it\'s a variable problem anymore. Uhh. See, I\'m using an uploader script on the server I built. Well, it looks fine, but when you upload, it just refreshes the page to upload and doesn\'t upload anything. hmm?
