Font Size Help

I have font size issue that seems like it should be simple to fix, yet I cannot find where to make the change, and if I have to use php or if I can use html.

It's in a very common web calendar ... Aptly named webCalendar ... and I'm hoping one of you is familiar with it or can figure out in the 5 minutes I thought it would take.

I took a screen shot and circled the problem text in red.

Learn to use your browser to inspect CSS styles. For example, Chrome can inspect a particular HTML element and identify what CSS rules were applied and overridden and where they're defined.

is using the font-size:10px it inherited from the .minical rule applied to the ancestor . Meanwhile the rest of the table is using

I'm impressed at your speed in finding it and answering. Thank you!

I searched both the parent file (month.php) and the child file (minical.php) and could not find any instances of of caption, font, size or 10px. I did find $MINICALFONT = '11px' in the minical.php file, but adjusting that resulted in no visible change anywhere on the page.

I noticed it mentioned styles.php, so I checked that. I found on place where it seemed to indicate setting the font size for minical.php, but changing that resulted in no visible change again.

I feel I've gotten closer by using your advice, but I'm still striking out.

I'm going to post each of the three pages in separate posts, and hopefully, you'll be able to tell me what I'm missing ....

This just gets weirder. I found what you referenced, changed it, and nothing happened. So, I got annoyed, went through, and increased every font size that was under 12.

That made the target font size bigger, with no other noticeable changes to any of the other fonts. Which makes no sense to me, whatsoever.

Then, I went through and changed anything 13px or less to 14px. Still no change. And even less sense.

The frustrating part is that the font only needs to be a little bit larger.

Page is quite a bit different now than it was before - .minical is now 16px?

css_cacher.php will be cached for about 19 hours. If you're making changes then you may have to tell your browser to reload the CSS every time. Try Ctrl+Shift+R instead of a normal reload.

Sorry I took so long to respond.I got a bit annoyed with it and stepped away for a bit.

I changed so many font sizes that I'm not sure what got changed to what. I only remember that when I made them all a little bigger, it didn't seem to effect anything ... almost as if there's a maximum size set somewhere.

I have cleaned up the header a bit and took away the background for the calendar portion of the page, so things are easier to see. It seems the font being red or blue is as much of a problem as the size being too small.

I have enough grey hair ... this calendar isn't helping.

i just used the Firefox developer toolbox to disable caching and refreshed the page. it looks the same. I definitely believe the font color is as much or more of an issue than the size. Unfortunately, I also hit a dead end trying to resolve that. It's clearly FFFFFF or FFF color coding ... but none exists anywhere in any of the pages for the calendar. I'm certain that changing the colors from red and blue to just plain old black would drastically improve the visibility and allow me to use a background for the menu section ... if I can find what to change or figure out what to add.

There was only one instance of #B04040 in all of the files. I even downloaded the entire contents of the folder from server just in case it was something that had been changed from default. It was in default_config.php and nowhere else.

I changed that instance from B04040 to FFFF00. It's still red.

I found ...

I'm afraid to lol. I ended up with the desired result and worry that I'd screw it up if I changed it. Also .. I think I unsuccessfully attempted that before doing what I did. It's all a blur.

I'm already on to my next headache. An html page that was converted from PDF that will put the former PDF over the top of anything I add to the page. When the page loads, the header is visible ... so I know it's there ... but is immediately covered. I tried line breaks, page breaks, div page-breaks, ... just about everything but a glass of water over the mother board.
