NikhilK Posted June 8, 2018 Share Posted June 8, 2018 Hi, I currently migrating my PHP websites from PHP 5.3.3 running on REHL-5 to PHP 5.4 on REHL-7. My question is it better to opt for 5.4 as its an enterprise edition with REHL-7 and supported till 2024 or shall i opt for PHP 7.1 which will be supported by redhat till 2019. requinix Posted June 8, 2018 Share Posted June 8, 2018 7.1 is the earliest version you should even consider. 7.2 is out. 7.3 is on its way. As for the major differences, there are so many that listing them would take far too much effort. Really. Check out the migration guides in the PHP documentation for an idea.
