Block-Protocol & Gutenberg...

hello and good day dear Community,

just came from WpTavern.com where i have read some exciting news on Block-protocol
but i am not sure if i got it right:

see:  Block Protocol Project Aims to Create Universal Block System, May Collaborate with Gutenberg
https://wptavern.com/block-protocol-project-aims-to-create-universal-block-system-may-collaborate-with-gutenberg

i have read the following:

Block Protocol is a new project that aims to build a block system for embedding interactive blocks in any web application. The goal is to create a more interoperable and open web where these blocks can be shared through a standardized protocol. The initial draft of the Block Protocol spec is being incubated by the team at HASH, an open source data, modeling, and simulation platform. When HASH founder Joel Spolsky shared the idea with the world yesterday, through a post on his WordPress-powered blog, it caught Matt Mullenweg’s attention.

Well as far as i understand the folks talk about some synergy-effects.

“This is 100% what Gutenberg is trying to do, and it’s designed to not be WordPress-specific, with the idea that Gutenberg blocks become cross-CMS,” Mullenweg said. “We have open source Android and iOS versions.” He recommended the Block Protocol team link up with Gutenberg lead architect Matias Ventura to discuss combining efforts.

it sounds that Blockprotocoll should be a general platform  - or concept that can be applied to Gutenberg and to other systems.. as well

Are they aiming for some synergy-effects.
see: https://blockprotocol.org

Build and use interactive blocks connected to the world of structured data

An open standard for building and using data-driven blocks. Make your applications both human and machine-readable.

what do you say?!

Well, I can certainly understand getting tired of answering the same questions over and over, but that is the nature of a forum. TBOne's advice is sound, it just comes across very grumpy and sadly that can drive people away. Hopefully the OP will stick it out..

loadedmind: Who said I was trolling? You imply/assume a whole lot based on little information. You might want to look in the mirror with that whole "attitude" thing...
I didn't LATCH ON to ANYTHING. Direct quote from the op, "I am new to linux and was trying to start by installing rhel 7.2 in my laptop". How in the HELL can you infer anything more than me wanting to help op based on this information?! Seriously man, check your ego at the door. Sometimes people just want to help other people without inferring anything more than a helping hand. Enhance your calm.

on another forum got you butthurt, and now you think your important enough for someone else to waste their time with? Sure. See a dr.
