Looking for Forum or Wikipedia software that can connect to SSL database server

I am wondering if anyone knows of a php application that supports SSL connection to a MySQL db.

My company has purchased an Azure hosted site. The VM is using CentOS 7.

Database requires the following functions to connect:

<?php

$db - mysqli_init();

$db->options(MYSQLI_OPT_SSL_VERIFY_SERVER_CERT, true);

$db->ssl_set(NULL, NULL, <CA Certificate file>, NULL, NULL);

$db->real_connect(<HOST>, <USER>, <PASS>, <DB Name>);

Checking if anyone here would know of any applications that supports this type of database connection. Had little luck finding info on a Google Search.

I've looked into MediaWiki, PHPbb3, and Vanilla Forums. None seems to support providing a CA Certificate File for database connection in the configuration.

The nice thing about Open Source Software is you could modify it to support your requirements.  There are answers out there for how to make it work with MediaWiki.
