Billing & Support

Hey all,

I was wondering...how do you handle your billings to clients and also support for your sites?


I was thinking about making my own billing/support system where my clients can log in check for invoices and pay them and/or put in a support ticket if something has gone wrong with their site/server or whatever, or put in a work request.


What are your thoughts/suggestions/advice?

Well, for support, we just allow clients to call us on the telephone and for billing we email out PDF invoices generated by our accounts package. Are you so busy that you need some [automated]? system to take care of this? It's a bit of a gimmick for small businesses in my opinion and could actually be less efficient. I think these systems are only of use to SMEs and large corps.
