Cork Critter

Materials Allowed: Paper clips, buttons, washers, or other items that can be hooked or taped to the cork.

Challenge: Using the materials, construct a “critter” that when held under water and released, the critter remains stationary. A successful solution will not sink to the bottom, nor float up to the surface, or rest against the side of the container.

So basically, the object would have to float in the middle of the water and has to be stationary. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task?
