The reason why variables are sometimes passed via the url, is because content on the said page it is linking to, is called on a conditional basis....and the variables are defined using the GET method. It has little to do with the appearance. I suggest looking through [a href=\"http://www.php.net\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.php.net[/a] and doing a little research.
