Importing tab delmited flat files

Can anyone recommend a good online tutorial on importing tab (or comma etc) delimited text files into MySQL? I haven't Googled a solution i like yet and i have a feeling it's complex enough that explaining it here might get a little overwhelming...

Yes, the MySQL manual. See the LOAD DATA command
If you are still using mysql_ functions, STOP! Use mysqli_ or PDO. The longer you leave it the more you will have to rewrite.
