paul2463
I think this should work $query = "SELECT invites, email FROM Invites(LEFT JOIN Users ON Invites.userID= Users.userID) ORDER BY users.totalinvites DESC"; Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/58593-quick-mysql-help/#findComment-290623 Share on other sites
EKINdesigns
i changed the query to this: SELECT `reciever_id` FROM `invites`(LEFT JOIN `users` ON `invites`.`reciever_id`=`users`.`id`) ORDER BY `users`.`sent_invites` DESC You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(LEFT JOIN `users` ON `invites`.`reciever_id`=`users`.`id`) ORDER BY `users`.`se' at line 1 Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/58593-quick-mysql-help/#findComment-290668 Share on other sites
paul2463
see if this one works, the opening bracket was in the wrong place, I have also removed the single ticks around the dot notation of table/column codes $query = "SELECT `reciever_id` FROM (`invites`LEFT JOIN `users` ON `invites.reciever_id`=`users.id`) ORDER BY `users.sent_invites` DESC"; Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/58593-quick-mysql-help/#findComment-290687 Share on other sites
