Out of class scope?

I'm really sorry, I don't have internet at home and I didn't bring the code with me...


Anyway, I have this class, which is extended by another class.
In that extension class, I have one function which calls one of its variables with $this->varname.
Then I have a class which extends on that second class, and then calls that function.

Now when executing the code, PHP reports that I it calls $this outside of the class scope, while it doesn't.
