[SOLVED] ENUM() and HTML/LIST

You don't have to do it that way but you can.

Think of it this way...

If you HTML form that could be the ENUM figure is already limited by a drop down box then essentially the form itself is doing the ENUM for you and thus you wouldn't have to put it into the database that way. You could leave it as a VARCHAR. Now if your database is populating the dropdown box then Yes it need to be an ENUM so that it has values to pull from.
