Problem Uploading File

Hi guys....noob here....

I am trying to upload a .txt file (i am in the middle of installing a free php image gallery) to a newly installed directory but it won't let me do it.

It is supplying this error message and i have no idea what it means. I tried changing the permissions too but that didn't seem to rectify it either...

---------------------------
FTP Folder Error
---------------------------
An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.

Details:
200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
227 Entering Passive Mode (67,15,58,22,174,171)
553-Can't open that file: Permission denied
553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Try changing your page attributes to 777 and see what happens.
