I am testing a web page built to upload data to a mysql database with php through IIS, and I get the error message HTTP 405 Resource not allowed Internet Information Services. Check Start Programs Admin Tools Internet Services Manager. Right click the \"Default Web site\" (assuming this is the correct one). Select properties. Here you can view and change the permissions. bromeus Posted August 21, 2003 Author Share Posted August 21, 2003 I have since dumped IIS in favour of Apache and am not having connection problems. Programming problems yes, but not connection problems. Any ideas where I could find some sample script that pulls a user\'s profile from a mysql table, and allows them to update it? Using PHP through a web site, after a login? Hmm, maybe I\'ll try Englich this time. I want a user to be able to update their info but entering their username and password, and having all their info pop up, which they can change if need be, or if they leave the new fields blank, the old info will be maintained. Any ideas where I can find a similar example to customize? I have been learning this all through a book and it doesn\'t seem to be too clear on this sort of thing.
